Al-Akhdoud team succeeded in achieving an exciting victory over its counterpart, Al-Ahli, with a score of 3-2, in the match that took place on Friday, February 16, 2024, as part of the activities of the 20th round of the Saudi Roshen League.
Al-Akhdoud took the lead three times in the match, while Al-Ahli sought to equalize the score twice, but its third attempt did not succeed, and it lost the match.
Al-Akhdoud’s goals were scored by Spanish player Alex Collado, left-back Hamad Al-Mansour, and Cameroonian striker Leandre Tawamba in the 25th, 43rd, and 59th minutes, respectively.
On the other hand, Al-Ahli’s goals came during the first half at the 32nd and 45+3rd minutes, through Georgian player Solomon Kvirkvelia, Al-Akhdoud defender, who scored an own goal, and Brazilian striker Roberto Firmino, who scored a goal from a penalty kick.
It is noteworthy that Firmino’s goal is his first after scoring a hat-trick against Al-Hazem during the opening round of the league on August 11.
Al-Akhdoud started its first unbeaten run since the 17th round, after winning two consecutive rounds against Al-Ta’ee and Al-Shabab with a score of 1-0, then drawing goalless with Al-Raed, and then adding a valuable victory over Al-Ahli with a score of 3-2.
